Programmes aimed at improving the well-being of Norwegian pupils

In 2006 two Norwegian directorates published a report and an
evaluation of school programmes aimed at preventing various
problems in schools. Different research groups had evaluated
programmes used in Norwegian schools, looking for the one's with
the best effects on:
- the learning environment
- social competence
- preventing problem behaviour
- alcohol and drug prevention (not translated)

The teacher as a leader has also been a focus for the
report.
The two directorates behind the report are: Directorate for
Education and Training and Directorate for Health and Social
Affairs.
